Commands Overview
Chapter 1 — How moderation commands work on Federal SMP and which rank gets what.
Every punishment on Federal SMP is logged with timestamps, reasons, and staff attribution — fully auditable. This section has one page per rank — read yours and every rank below it.
RANK LADDER
Helper → Sr. Helper → Mod → Sr. Mod → Admin. Each rank inherits all commands from the rank before it. What changes as you climb is mostly how long you can punish for and what tools you get for investigation.
Duration Format
IMPORTANT
Durations use shorthand: 30m (30 minutes), 12h (12 hours), 7d (7 days), perm for permanent. Always include a clear, specific reason — "being bad" is not acceptable. Reference the rule number when possible (e.g., "Rule 3.2 — hate speech in chat").

GOLDEN RULE
Never use a command beyond your rank, even if you technically have access due to a permission error. If you notice you can run a command you should not have, report it immediately — do not use it "just this once."
